This story
is so much more than just erotica. Don't get me wrong, the love scenes are
graphically described. But this story is more than the sum total of its love
scenes.
It's about the journey of a woman who had been repressed and emotional
abused to finally rediscovering herself, letting go of her inhibitions and achieving
sexual healing.
Yes, you've
got that right. Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye is my soundtrack selection for
this book.
I loved
Madison because she was flawed and human. And I loved Hunter because he was so
determined and loved her with as much vigour. Some of their scenes together were
emotional and beautiful and hot.
"That isn't what I meant, damn it," Hunt returned sharply, unwilling to let her throw up road-blocks between them. "I know just how hot you can burn, Madison," he reminded her with a smoldering look as he laced his fingers through hers and tugged her toward him. "Did I mention that I have a very luxurious hot tub?" he offered casually, "I think a nice soak might allow you to unwind and help that stick you've got shoved up your ass slide out."
